Liz's Birthday & Halloween 12:46 PM

wow it's november already! :S and guess what month november is? it's exam month!! T.T i'm having my study week right now, supposed to be studying right now. but i'm having a lunch time break. hahaha self declared break. so i decided to blog. i'll always do stuff i'm not supposed to when i'm stressed. i'll whip out my NDS and start getting hooked to a game, or start reading my novel and not put it down, watching dramas. these stuff tend to happen more when i'm stressed. lol i'm the master of procrastination.

anyway it was liz's birthday last week and so joyce, cindy, angel, their friend stavros, and liz's housemate adeline (? i'm not sure..) and i planned a surprise for liz. we told her that it was a dinner to celebrate another friend's birthday dinner. and i didn't even know who that friend was! haha then i had to pretend that i knew that friend from uni and stuff. phew i only knew last minute. but yeah liz believed us so we were pretty successful!

we went to ciao italia, the very famous italian restaurant that takes no reservations. i've never been there before that so i was pretty excited. :) when we got there and just started ordering, the waiters brought the cake out, with music and singing, and presented the cake to liz. liz was so suprised and she even thought that the waiters presented the cake to the wrong person. hahaha. the cake was brought out before we started eating, so that was pretty weird. but i think it's alright also since we wouldn't know how to tell her why the other "birthday girl" doesn't show up. LOL.

we forgot to take a group photo! too bad. :( that day was the last day of liz's first year of uni. and liz flew back to kk already yesterday. i went out with liz on the day of her birthday too, on tuesday. i went to meet her and her uni mates after my class in the city and had lunch, then went to harbour town to do some shopping. we had some photos but they're all in her uni mate's cameras. i didn't use my camera. :x

okay, next up! halloween! i had a halloween party organised by my cousin's girlfriend at her house. we were supposed to dress up and i didn't think about what i wanted to wear until the day or two before the party. haha i then thought of being barbie, so the next day my sister and i went to the costume shop and i got a blonde wig while my sister got a pair of wings because she was an angel.

then after that we went to carousel for shopping, bought shitloads of stuff. :/ there goes my attempt in saving money. haha wtf. then we went home to prepare some food to bring to the party and make up. got to the party at around 7.30 pm? nothing much to say, here's photos!

i had a great time at the party and dressing up! my first halloween. hahah damn fun. next time we have parties we sould have a theme! it's so interesting and fun. :) so that was the end of my october. now it's back to studying. zzz my exams are next week! i can't believe it. sigh i've got exams on the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 18th! all clumped together.

haha i'm going to count down again! just 23 days to going back to malaysia, then going to macau, then going to singapore! oh gosh i'm going to be so busy this holidays! yay! okay enough slacking. time to find something to eat and back to studying. :(

It's the time of the year 4:12 PM

it's the time of the year now, when (where?) the seasons are starting to change, from winter to spring, spring to summer. and the weather changes are pretty extreme! one week it might be cool and windy and rainy, the next might be hot and dry and sunny and the next might be nice and just right! last week it was quite cold, after a week being just right. and then last saturday it was 35 degrees! it felt like we were in the middle of summer already. and it's only the middle of october.

anyway i'm talking about all this rubbish because i'm sick! :( i had a recurring migrain last week, nothing could take it away. whatever i did, the migraine kept coming back. i didn't want to take too many medication so i was brave and strong and lived with my migrain! *proud* haha anyway on friday i started not feeling very well, and saturday i started to cough a little bit, and on sunday i lost my voice and started to cough really badly. it just got worse and worse throughout the day so i asked my brother to bring me to see a doctor on monday. and so i did. it's just a cold, no fever no AH1N1. :) i didn't go to uni yesterday and today because i feel too sick to go. T.T

i've been wanting to blog all week but never had the time to! well either that or i would be having a migraine. i tried to stay off my computer a lot last week because i thought my computer was causing the migraine. hahaha wtf.

there were more interesting stuff happening in my life, besides getting sick and complaining about the weather! lol like.. an fire evacuation in the uni library! ahahaha life can't get any more exciting than that hey? :P my friend felicia and i were in the library, waiting to take a test in the computer lab. then we heard beeping sounds, obviously the fire alarm was going off. at that point my friend and i were still reluctant in leaving because we still wanted to take our tests. hahaha wtf we're such big nerds. anyway we did evacuate and i took some photos so i can blog about it. wtf it doesn't seem as interesting anymore now.

moving on.. last friday was my brother's birthday! he brought my sister and i to see his newly built house, then we went for lunch. and we went to the curtin pasar malam at night where i spent around AUD20 for lousy food. then we celebrated his, my cousin's and 2 of my brother's friend's birthdays on saturday night. four birthday celebrations in one night. talk about being efficient! haha we went to outback jack's in northbridge for steak. apparently it's famous for its steaks but i thought it was just alright. maybe because i'm not really a steak person. here's some photos!

the restaurant has this challenge that u can take up. it's a 1kg steak, with salad and chips and if u can finish that meal in less than 30 minutes, u get the dish half price! that's half price of like AUD45 though. still not very cheap. haha of course we didn't take the challenge lar.. we ordered 1 regular dish and 1 of the 1kg challenge to share between the four of us.. and we couldn't finish the 1kg challenge too! :S

okay! i have nothing to blog about anymore! i'm going to be back on malaysian soil in 37 days! woohoo that's just over a month! which means that my final exams are in less than a month! T.T not supposed to sound excited. but yeah. i'm soooo looking forward to the summer holidays! because i'm going to spend some winter holidays in macau instead!! :D yay for different seasons! nyahaha i'm gonna need to work hard to earn some spending money.

i'm off to take a nap! coughing sure takes up a lot of energy!

October's here!! 10:45 PM

haven't posted a photo in a long time! :P

ahhh it's october already now! oh my god what happened to the time why is it flying. -__-" haha wtf lame. this week is week free but i haven't had a week free! i've been going to uni more in week free than in a normal week. what happened to the lazy damn slack kelly? haha i became hardworking. :D

anyway actually the reason why i was in uni all week is because i had classes. heh i had a unit where we don't have lab sessions throughout the semester, but it's all packed into 3 days in week free. there were two days when the classes ran from 9 to 3 and a day when it was from 9 to 12. sounds quite intense huh? but it wasn't that bad. and guess what i was doing! i was culturing bacteria!! :S it was really quite disgusting. we had to do a pure culture, do experiments and use the microscope. then on the last day we were going to be tested on what we learnt in the first 2 days.

so culturing the bacteria.. *shudders* eww was so disgusting. there was a bacteria that had a horrible smell! ughhh.. and there was one experiment where we had to test our hand washing techniques. we had to touch E. coli (a bacteria that's usually in our intestines) then wash our hands. that was when i realised i'm a bit OCD. i was so disgusted by the idea of knowingly touching that bacteria. and every time i looked at bacteria in the microscope i'd feel disgusted. haha wtf. i washed my hands so many times that day and didn't eat finger food just in case my hands weren't clean enough. lol damn paranoid.

okay, moving on to a less disgusting topic.. so everyone knows i've been working at a restaurant and earning myself some extra pocket money.. and everyone knows that i'm a person who has no determination at all on saving money.. haha i thought i've been working very hard and being very hardworking in uni.. so.. i rewarded myself i bought myself a gift! :D hahaha i bought myself and ipod touch! haha damn happy. but i haven't really started using it because i bought a protective sticker on ebay and it hasn't arrived yet so i don't wanna use my ipod until i've put on the skin to prevent myself from scratching it.

oohh yeah it's mooncake festival today! aww this is the 2nd year i haven't celebrated mooncake festival with my family. :( i miss family gatherings. especially family gatherings when it's a special celebration. but! last week the family here in perth did have a mooncake festival celebration over at my aunt's place. we brought some food over and had a nice little gathering. :)

I almost got killed 5:59 PM

by my migraine today. -___-

my migraine started last night after i got off from work. then i went to bed and it was still there. i could still feel it while i was asleep. and everytime i woke up in the middle of the night i felt it. i woke up at 9 something this morning and the pain in my head was throbbing. so i tried to sleep it off. woke up again at 11 something, it was still there, only that it felt even worse. then i tried to not think about it. so i went online. but it was too painful so i tried to eat it off. hahaha wtf i went to make breakfast and ate. a big sandwich and a big mug of warm milo. but it was still there. i couldn't take it anymore so i tried to find my saviour, panadol. i know i've taken a lot of panadol throughout my life so i only try to take panadol when i really cannot take it. and i really coudn't take it anymore today so i tried to find my panadol. *GASP* i couldn't find it. i almost died on the spot. haha luckily i did find it in my handbag. 3 precious panadols left only. i must really remember to go buy some panadol.

anyway then i went to sleep again at 3 pm and now i just woke up and my migraine is gone! sigh i'm so relieved. i was supposed to study for my human biology test scheduled for tuesday afternoon. i'm so screwed because i haven't even finished reading my textbook. :( :( ahhh so worried! gonna go study now!!

p/s: someone should really find a cure for migraines. temporary relief is not enough!
